noyers-sur-serein

The medieval village of Noyers-sur-Serein is in the Burgundy region about 2-hours drive from Paris.   It’s listed as one of the “France’s most beautiful villages”, also won the 7^th place in a 2014 beautiful villages competition.  On the picture, I was standing near the water where you can start a walk either down into the village or up to the hill with winding stairs to see the medieval ruins, and especially enjoy the walk!
